Ercüment Zayim, MD

I graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1988. After completing my compulsory service as a general practitioner at Posof Health Center and my military service at Bandırma 6th Main Jet Base, I began working as an Orthopedics and Traumatology assistant at Kartal Training and Research Hospital in 1991 and qualified as an Orthopedics and Traumatology specialist in 1995. I worked as a specialist physician at Şereflikoçhisar State Hospital between 1995 and 1997. From 1997 to April 28, 2025, I served as a specialist physician in the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department at Üsküdar State Hospital. Our hospital mostly performs trauma surgeries, primary and revision arthroplasty of the knee and hip joints, knee arthroscopy, diagnostic arthroscopy of the ankle joint, open repair of rotator cuff tears of the shoulder joint, and surgeries for foot deformities such as hallux valgus, hallux rigidus, and hammertoe deformities.
